Membership of Radio Maria Malawi

Radio Maria Malawi would like to announce that they formed the Association of Radio Maria Malawi which will be entrusted with the responsibility of running the affairs of the radio. The following are the members of the Board of Directors.

4. Treasurer: Earnest Chigona
5. Member: Fr. Joseph Kimu Director
6. Member: Fr. Medrick Mlava Vice Director

Membership in the Association is voluntary and is open to any person who is interested in furthering the objectives of the Association. In this regard, all Catholic faithfuls from all Catholic Dioceses in Malawi, priests, religious men and women and the laity, are being invited to join the Association.

Among other things members of the Association must ideally represent all the areas involved in the radio, i.e. the broadcasting, management, technical personnel and the listeners.

The members shall also be responsible for the content of the program schedules and the broadcasts in relation to the Church, vested in the priest responsible for programming who is personally answerable to the ecclesiastical authority.

As members of a non-profit entity with a legal personality, they are also required to comply with the provisions of the Constitution. In the same spirit all members are required to expect no financial remuneration for this task. The task is too noble to be quantified with money!

We are the light of the world so let us bring that light, and the salvation that goes with it, to all mankind through the Association of Radio Maria.
