Donations

Unlike other radios that advertise in order to level running costs, Radio Maria is a non-profit making medium of evangelisation through the radio. In other words, the radio does not transmit commercially sponsored advertisements. Radio Maria depends entirely on Divine Providence.

Radio Maria aims at bringing salvation to all listeners through spiritual, social, educative and entertaining programmes. In short, Radio Maria makes sure that the Gospel, as proclaimed by Christ, reaches everybody in obedience to his command: ‘Go and preach to the whole world’.

To accomplish this noble task, the Radio needs your spiritual, moral and material support. Since the radio does not have its own resources and does not make any profits from any of its operations, it would solely depend on donations from you, dear listeners, and other people of good will for its sustenance.

It is in this view that Radio Maria would like to appeal to all people of good will to make donations, financial or otherwise, which would enable it to continue its task of evangelization. With your donation, no matter how small it may be, you will have actively participated in the work of preaching the Gospel of hope and joy to many people.

The entire volunteer staff of Radio Maria will offer their daily prayers for you so that God may give you abundant blessings because of your keen interest to be part and parcel of the instrument of evangelization that will eventually bring the Kingdom of God on earth. In fact every Saturday morning Radio Maria offers the sacrifice of the Holy Mass for all the people who help it in cash and kind. Remember Jesus’ words: it is more blessed to give than to receive.
